The capital of the Hoosier State sits right in the middle of the heartland. Fountain Square Theater
Although not directly downtown like the actual Fountain Square, this historic theater is only a short walk away. This building resembles a small city more than a wedding venue and offers guests a fun alternative style wedding. They have duck pin bowling, a rooftop bar, boutique hotel, and a game room…all in addition to the theater that can house weddings. The original theater is almost 100 years old now and housed 1,500 seated guests. The images online are amazing but no prices are listed.

The Cyrus Place
Located in the downtown ring of Indy, this historic building is almost 150 years old. They host two huge rooms: the Grand Hall and the Main Hall Ballroom. In addition, they have deluxe bridal and groom suites for preparation. They offer tables and chairs, a full DJ setup, a 5 hour event time but additional access for setup and takedown. Ivory Fountain Weddings and Events
In the Garfield Park neighborhood, south of downtown, sits this new wedding venue. With one side of brick walls and the other white, this space is fairly customizable and can hold hangings from the ceilings. They offer full day rentals with table and chair rentals. They can house up to 250 guests at the reception but have an outdoor garden for more people. Pricing starts at $5,500 but the information ends there.

Laurel Hall
Northeast of downtown, this venue has a beautiful facade of the building and is a short 10 minute drive from downtown. With grand stairs leading up to the exterior door, this place is ideal for photos. The grounds are 36,000 square feet and can hold up to 200 guests. A peak season Saturday wedding costs $8,000 but there is an additional $1,500 in fees and you only get a 6 hour rental. The space is beautiful and has versatile options of indoor/outdoor, along with a terrace and an elegant chapel.

The Sanctuary on Penn
Right downtown and in the shadow of the War Museum, this venue gives off darker vibes of its interior. They have exquisite hardwood floors and the space clears in the center for dancing all night. This venue works with you from the very first meeting through the end of the process. This standalone chapel has multiple rooms and tiers, each with varying capacities, the largest can house up to 400 standing guests. No prices listed online.
